Payments & Cancellations
|
| We accept VISA, Master Card, and all Debit cards for
payment at Orchard Hill. |
Room Bookings
|
At the time you book your reservation, we will take your
credit or debit card information. The amount of the entire
reservation will be charged to the card at that time unless the
reservation is for more than 30 days out. For 30 days or more
advanced bookings, one night stay will be charged to the card
and the balance will be charged at check-in.
For group stays and long stays, the same rules apply above, but
half of the reservation fee will be charged at the time of
booking. The balance will be charged at check-in.
For individual night stays, there will be one night charged if
the cancellation is made after 12:00 p.m., 14 days in advance of
the check-in date, but a gift card toward future stays will be
given for the amount of the reservation. If cancellation
is made before 12:00 p.m. more than 14 days in advance, a full
refund will be granted.
For group stays and long stays, there will be one night charged,
per room reservation if cancellation is made after 12:00 p.m.,
14 days in advance of the check-in date. If cancellation is made
before 12:00 p.m. more than 14 days in advance, one night per
room will still be charged, but a gift card toward future stays
will be given for the amount of the reservation.
For Holidays, all reservations are final. No refunds will be
granted. For Holiday cancellations more than 60 days in
advance, guests will receive a gift card toward future stays for
the amount of the reservation.

Special Event Bookings
|
Upon booking Orchard Hill for a Wedding or special event,
½ of the RESERVATION FEE will be charged to your Credit or Debit
card at that time as a retainer. The remainder of the
RESERVATION FEE will be charged on the day of the event along
with any other fees for special accommodations agreed to by both
parties.
If the event is cancelled more than 14 days prior, a $300
cancellation fee will be charged. Additionally, any other costs
associated with the event planning will be withheld from the
original retainer. (This may include but is not limited to
cancellation fees for rental equipment, caterers, special items
purchases etc.).
If the event is cancelled less than 14 days prior, the entire
retainer will be charged as a cancellation fee.

Meeting Space Bookings
|
|
Upon booking Orchard Hill for a meeting , a Retainer of
$200 will be charged to a Debit or Credit card. If this
reservation is cancelled at least 14 days prior to the meeting,
$100 will be charged as a cancellation fee. If the reservation
is cancelled less than 14 days prior to the meeting, the entire
$200 will be charged as a cancellation fee.

Children
|
Due to the Bed & Breakfast being a destination for romantic
getaways, we do not allow children (below age 16) because of the
potential disturbance it may cause to our other guests.
However, children are more than welcome when a group rents out
the entire house for a private function, or all bedrooms for a
specific night. However, we are not set up with cribs or special
accommodations that are required for small children. These items
must be brought by the guest.

Pets
|
|
We have a great appreciation for pets and animals of all kinds.
However, due to potential allergy issues and nuisance issues
that they may cause other guests, no pets are allowed to be
brought to the Bed & Breakfast. We have an exception to this
policy for companion animals for special assistance.

Smoking
|
|
Orchard Hill is a smoke free facility. We do not allow
smoking in any area of the house. If you desire to smoke we are happy to allow smoking outside on a number of covered
porches where you can dispose of smoking debris in provided
dispensers. Smoking in a guest suite, or any area of the house,
will result in a $250 cleaning fee added to your room charge.
